Piastova Osada

This part of Ursus, in the area of ulica Henryka II Pobożnego, has a completely different atmosphere than the dense quarters in Szamoty. Lower buildings and single-family houses predominate around here, and traffic is mainly limited to residents commuting. At number 53, Victoria Dom is building the Piastova Osada project. This is an option for someone who wants to keep a Warsaw address, but is tired of the anonymity of massive housing estates and prefers the intimate setting of a side street.

Everyday life requires certain transportation compromises here. There is no metro nearby, so commutes rely on buses — the Bolesława Krzywoustego 02 stop is about 400 metres away. For quick shopping you can walk to the Odido store, and for a workout it only takes a few minutes on foot to the Zdrofit club. Children are close to Przedszkole im. ks. B. Markiewicza. For walking the dog, there is Zieleniec przy ul. Koronacyjnej, less than 500 metres away. A noticeable drawback, however, is medical facilities: Apteka Doz Dbam O Zdrowie is located over a kilometre from home, which can be troublesome without a car.

Within the development itself, floor areas range from 46,9 to 62,7 m², exclusively in two- and three-room layouts. The absence of studio apartments limits random rentals, which fosters a stable neighbourhood. This offer makes sense primarily for couples and families with one child looking for a second or third room to live in, choosing a quieter edge of Ursus instead of the crowded centre.
