Conrada 30

Northern Bielany was built up by a steel mill. The construction of Huta Warszawa began in 1952, the first steel flowed in April 1957, and along with the plant, residential estates for workers, schools and the entire infrastructure of this part of the district were created. The facility operates to this day as ArcelorMittal Warszawa on Kasprowicza — smaller than it once was, but still present in the landscape.

The second thing that shaped the area is three centuries older. The name Bielany comes from the white habits of the Camaldolese monks, brought here by Władysław IV in 1639; the forest around their monastery is today a nature reserve with old-growth timber within the city limits.

In terms of transportation, this part of Warsaw changed on October 25, 2008, when the Młociny station opened and thus the first metro line was completed. A transit hub was also created there, from which buses and trams depart towards Białołęka.

The investment is small — several dozen apartments, from a studio to four rooms. What to pay attention to: check the distance and direction from industrial areas and what is planned on neighboring plots. And see the route to the metro in the morning, because it will determine your daily rhythm.

The street is named after Joseph Conrad, i.e. Józef Korzeniowski, a writer born in Berdyczów, who wrote in English and never lived in Bielany. Chomiczówka distributed such names in the seventies, when a large-panel estate was being built here; Conrada 30 is a patch of a completely different era in this fabric.

The building has nine stories above ground level and two levels of underground parking, and there are eighty-five apartments, from a studio to four rooms. Construction began in autumn 2023 and was completed according to plan: the facility was handed over in the fourth quarter of 2025. This is a rare situation on the primary market, because an apartment can be viewed for real, not just on a floor plan.

What is not visible in the visualizations: the neighborhood is a residential estate of blocks from the seventies, with their advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is mature greenery, a full set of schools, clinics and shops, and a network of buses you don't have to wait for. The disadvantage is the view from some windows and competition for a parking space on the street. There is no metro here and there won't be one; the nearest station is Młociny, fifteen minutes by bus.
